Continuing both of my arms. Here, left and right forearms. Motifs : sakura (cherry blossoms), botan (peony), koi (carp), waves and clouds. Still need a couple of sessions to finish it. Getting there. Slowly but surely.

A collection of pictures taken over a three month period while I got a Koi Dragon Tattoo on my shoulder. The work is done by Joanne at Blue Tongue Designs in Hong Kong.

PJ gets a 1/2 sleeve lined out. Traditional flowers on the outside and a decapitated geisha head on his inner arm. Check back for part 2…The Shading Session.

Finished “Alice in wonderland” Half sleeve tattoo by Hoode of “studio one tattoo”

The start of a massive horror-movie themed tattoo sleeve. This piece is of Captain Spaulding from Rob Zombie’s “House of 1000 Corpses.” Todo is using the Hawk tattoo machine, the most advanced, “painless” machine on the market. Todo has been tattooing for over 20 years on such clients as Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Slash (Guns n’ Roses, Velvet Revolver) and Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver). The fifth stage of my Dragon Koi Fish Full Sleeve Tattoo is now completed. Music is Acknowledged in the Credits. The Koi fish is believed to bravely climb the waterfalls and to swim up any stream against the present current. Back in China, an old legend says that any Koi fish that had prosperously climbed the waterfalls at a point on the Yellow River named “Dragon’s Gate”, would be transformed into a Dragon at the top. It is through this legend that the Koi fish became a symbol that stands for Advancement and Strength in the face of Adversity. More to come…
